Definition of "Technician"

For the purposes of this Limited Warranty, the term "technician" refers exclusively to individuals who are employed by or contractually affiliated with The Auto Healer LLC. Any reference to "technician" in this Limited Warranty is intended to mean only those authorized by The Auto Healer LLC to perform services under its platform. No other individual or entity, including those who may have been introduced through The Auto Healer LLC but are not scheduled through our platform, shall be considered a "technician" for the purposes of this Limited Warranty.

What is covered by this Limited Warranty?

This Limited Warranty is provided by The Auto Healer LLC ("we," "us," or "The Auto Healer"). Subject to the conditions set forth below, The Auto Healer warrants that any maintenance and repair services purchased and provided through The Auto Healer (the "Services") will be free from defects in both (1) the materials supplied by The Auto Healer (such as parts used in the Services) and (2) the workmanship performed by a technician.

This Limited Warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law. The Auto Healer disclaims any other implied warranties not expressly stated in this Limited Warranty or our Terms of Service. The total amount of damages or liability covered under this Limited Warranty shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the Services.

This Limited Warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser of the Services and is non-transferable. It does not extend to any person who may purchase, borrow, use, or lease the vehicle after the Services were performed.

How long will coverage under this Limited Warranty last?

Except as otherwise expressly provided herein, this Limited Warranty lasts for 12 months or 12,000 miles of use, whichever comes first, as measured from the date the Services are provided and the odometer reading recorded on the invoice ("Warranty Period"). However, for oil changes, this Limited Warranty shall apply for 90 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.

If a part provided in connection with the Services carries a separate manufacturer’s warranty longer than the Warranty Period, the manufacturer’s warranty shall apply to that part, but The Auto Healer’s Limited Warranty shall only apply to the workmanship performed by a technician. Any remedial work performed under this Limited Warranty will not restart or extend the Warranty Period.

What will The Auto Healer do if the Service is defective during the Warranty Period?

In the event that any materials supplied by us or the workmanship in the Services are found to be defective during the Warranty Period, The Auto Healer, at its sole discretion, will retain a technician to remedy the defect at no cost to you, which may include replacing any defective parts used in the Services.

The Auto Healer is the only entity authorized to perform any warranty repairs or services under this Limited Warranty. Any work performed by another service provider or technician without prior written approval from The Auto Healer will void this Limited Warranty. You must contact The Auto Healer directly for any warranty-related repair work.

We will not be responsible for any parts or components that are damaged during the removal or installation of other parts required for the repair. This includes, but is not limited to, any components that are already weakened, brittle, or susceptible to breakage as a result of age, wear, or prior damage.

What is not covered by this Limited Warranty?

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Any repairs or work for which you paid directly to the technician rather than making your payment through The Auto Healer;
  • Any work not scheduled or processed through The Auto Healer, including but not limited to:
    • Work performed by any technician not affiliated with The Auto Healer, or
    • Work performed by you, or
    • Work performed by a technician initially introduced by The Auto Healer, but where the service was not scheduled through The Auto Healer;
  • Any damage caused by abnormal use (including use in a commercial venture), misuse, neglect (e.g., failure to perform maintenance services as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer), alterations, tampering, or external causes such as accidents, theft, fire, water, hail, or freezing temperatures;
  • Any vehicle used commercially;
  • Any issue unrelated to the Services provided (e.g., if you purchase an oil change, but your car leaks oil due to defective engine seals or gaskets, this Limited Warranty does not apply to the leak);
  • Any diagnostic or inspection services, including pre-purchase inspections, provided through The Auto Healer;
  • Any pre-existing condition that was not known by the technician before performing the Services and is discovered during or after the Services are performed (e.g., if the technician replaces valve cover gaskets and old brittle hoses break during the repair, replacing those hoses is not covered by this Limited Warranty);
  • Any additional repairs or services requested by you that go beyond the scope of the technician's original diagnosis, even if necessary to resolve the issue diagnosed; however, if such additional repairs are authorized and paid for through The Auto Healer, they will be covered under this Limited Warranty;
  • Any consequential effects of the Services performed, unrelated to any defective parts installed or workmanship performed (e.g., you request a transmission fluid service, and after properly installing the correct fluid, your transmission malfunctions because it cannot handle the new fluid—this consequential effect is not covered);
  • Any repairs requiring adjustments to existing parts rather than part replacements.

What will void this Limited Warranty?

This Limited Warranty is automatically void if:

  • Any parts not ordered through The Auto Healer are installed by the technician;
  • Any Service request deviates from the vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations (e.g., you request conventional oil for an oil change when your owner’s manual specifies synthetic oil);
  • After receiving the Services, you take your vehicle to a third party to diagnose or repair a problem related to the Services without first providing The Auto Healer the opportunity to inspect and remedy the issue or without The Auto Healer’s express written authorization for such third-party service.

The Auto Healer shall have the sole and exclusive right to determine whether this Limited Warranty applies to a particular claim.

What is the process for filing a claim under this Limited Warranty?

To file a claim under this Limited Warranty, you must contact The Auto Healer LLC at (855) 598-AUTO or by email at Info@theautohealer.com. Include the following information in your email:

  • Your full name;
  • Repair order or invoice number;
  • Name of the technician;
  • Time and date of the appointment;
  • Details of the service performed;
  • Current mileage on the vehicle; and
  • A description of the problem.

You must also provide documentation such as photos or videos of the problem as well as the following:

  • Proof of purchase;
  • Photos of the license plate and VIN;
  • Odometer reading;
  • Vehicle registration;
  • Photos of the defective part or area of the vehicle.

We will schedule a technician to inspect the problem. If the technician determines that the defect falls under this Limited Warranty, we will remedy the issue by performing the necessary repairs or replacing the defective part(s) at no additional cost to you.

What happens if you are outside our service area when you file a claim?

If you are outside our service area and need warranty service, you must contact The Auto Healer for approval before taking your vehicle to a registered automotive repair shop. If approved, you may have the repair performed at a shop selected by The Auto Healer. If the repair shop determines the defect is due to materials or workmanship covered by this Limited Warranty, The Auto Healer will arrange for the repair at no cost to you.

What happens if the claimed defect is not covered by this Limited Warranty?

If a claim is made under this Limited Warranty, and the technician determines that the issue is not covered by the Limited Warranty, you will be charged for one hour of labor for the diagnostic service. Any non-warranty services requested at the same time will also be charged at the applicable rate.

May you keep defective parts replaced under this Limited Warranty?

No. All defective parts replaced under this Limited Warranty must be returned to The Auto Healer.

What happens if the invoice states that you have no warranty or a shorter warranty?

If your invoice states that there is no warranty or provides a warranty period shorter than this Limited Warranty, please contact us immediately. The Auto Healer will work with you to review the situation and address any concerns to ensure proper warranty coverage is in place.

Limitations of Liability

In no event will The Auto Healer be liable for any incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the Services or this Limited Warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to the amount actually paid by you for the Services.

We are not responsible for any parts that may be damaged during removal or installation of parts for the repair. This includes components that may have been damaged due to age, wear, or any other prior condition that was not caused by the Services.
