Welcome to the Auto Healer!

Your Satisfaction is important to us!

My name is Jason Elliott, owner of the Auto Healer. We are not your ordinary detail shop.  The Auto Healer offers many services most detail shops don’t offer.  We are primarily a mobile detail shop, but also have a shop in Hays for your convenience. Free estimates are available.

I have extensive experience in the automotive detailing industry, and have been detailing for more than 10 years. By investing time and money into the products and techniques I use, you can be confident that I use only the best products to achieve optimal results.

Your vehicle is most likely one of your largest investments, and should be treated with the utmost respect and care. Make sure you are entrusting your vehicle to a qualified professional. I have been contracted to fix many other details jobs performed by those who claim to be professional detailers. Although detailing may seem to be simple enough, there is more to the art than buying a bucket, sponge, and cheap wax. Trust only a trained professional to make your car look, feel, and smell like new again!

The below pictures are what an amateur detailer can do by polishing your paint incorrectly.  This damage is all too common coming from auto body shops, uneducated detailers, and auto dealerships.

Don’t let an amateur detailer ruin your paint finish.  Only trust your vehicle to professionals.

Here is an example of poorly cared for paint before polishing by The Auto Healer.

(Above)Before paint polishing, notice the scratches highlighted by the inspection light.

Another detail related area we excel in is upholstery and carpet cleaning.  Todays  new automotive seat fabric is getting harder to care for, and doesn’t appear to changing anytime soon as more automotive manufacturers make the switch.  Something as simple as a drop of water can cause a very noticeable stain.  Many detailers are puzzled on how to clean these seats.  The Auto Healer has success with our seat cleaning process and continue to be one of the elite in this category.  Using the wrong method and chemicals will result in poor results and an unhappy customer, and can make the stain worse.  Here are a few examples below.

What is hot water extraction? Often known as the most effective method of cleaning carpets, hot water extraction (or steam cleaning) is a very popular choice, and usually the best technique to achieve a deep cleaning. This method uses high pressure and high temperature water to clean the fibers themselves, more thoroughly then most other processes. Not only does it clean deep soil out, but it also lifts all the surface dirt, making this the most popular method. Along with high pressure and hot water, there are detergents and cleaners mixed in with the water to help break up the dirt and the deep, deep soil, leaving a very clean, almost sterile surface behind. Not all detailers use this method to clean your carpet, some use a dry foam method, which is ineffective and sometimes causes more harm than good. Some foam cleaners can make stains become permanent. Hot water extraction is the best choice to make your carpet and seats look and smell like new again.

After cleaning, not 100% perfect because stains were left on seat too long, but end result was definitely dramatic.
